COURSE CONTENT
Explore the foundations of Impressionist art with an interactive lecture and workshop.
Participants will be introduced to the artistic trends of the 1800 and the events that led to the 1st major modern art movement in modern art, before exploring materials and methods inherent to Impressionist practice.
Participants will develop a complete, Impressionist image of their own, from simple outline, to magnifecently intricate and sensitive explorations of colour based on the UAE’s breathtaking landscape.
Expert tuition from UK artist, illustrator and design lecturer Darren Herbert, (PgDip, MA), will provide you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to begin your own creative journey.
All materials will be provided and you will receive your own personal welcome pack to help you in your own practice.
